The InSpeck 3D digitizing systems can essentially capture most 3D objects, even humans, and can create accurate computer models.  Our systems are unique in that they can digitize humans safely and capture both geometry and texture (skin tone, etc.)  The specific applications are far too vast to mention.  The medical applications include taking measurements along a body's surface, showing before and after images of pre and post-operative results, measuring for a prosthetic limb, etc.
