Descriptions

The 3D Capturor II: is a stand-alone digitizer, capable of acquiring 3D models of objects or humans and converting them into 3D computer models.  This digitizer may be purchased in small, medium or large field configurations.  The small-field configurations would be capable of capturing (digitizing) a hand, head or smaller mechanical part with a single digitized image (i.e. single snap shot).  The medium-field configuration could capture something the size of a human torso and the large field could capture something the size of a human body.  The medium and large field configurations typically capture less detail but larger areas.  If your needs include capturing fine detail for large areas, a small field configuration may be used and multiple pictures (digitizes) may be taken and merged together using the powerful InSpeck EM software.  This system is also available in a Mega-version, capable of capturing models with greater accuracy.  If your 3D digitizing needs generally require the capturing objects of different size, the 3D Capturor DF (Dual Field) is probably the correct solution for you.

The 3D Capturor DF (Dual Field): is unique in that it is essentially two digitizers in one.  It has all of the capabilities of the 3D Capturor II but with multiple-field capabilities.  The lens type is typically small and medium field.  The lens used is controlled through the FAPS software, the frame acquisition software that is provided free of charge with your digitizer.  This digitizer may also be purchased in a standard or Mega version.

The BDF1300 (Breast and Face Digitizer): was designed specifically for the needs and unique requirements of Plastic Surgeons.  It is designed to capture a wide-field of a person (i.e. 360 degrees of a woman's upper torso) in two positions very quickly and accurately.

Systems and solutions: These describe some of the vast uses for the 3D digitizers.  If your application requires you to capture a "real" object as an accurate computer model, capable of being "virtually" or physically reproduced, please click on the appropriate choices and we will contact you to discuss your applications.

Services: Organic Imaging and Design represents a large assortment of digitizing and reverse-engineering services.  The services offered can be as precise as reverse-engineering of a mechanical part and reproducing the part, or even the mold cavity required to remanufacture the part.  The tolerances held are roughly +/- .3 mm (about .011 of an inch).  We can also utilize our 3D Printing technology to digitize a person and reproduce them in either plastic, corn starch or plaster.  This would, for example, provide the unique opportunity to scan a sports team and provide "human trophies" as souvenirs.  Or, perhaps you want to create a bust of each of your family members for the fireplace mantle.  We also perform many services geared towards the medical profession.  For example, the developer of a prosthetic limb or knee brace for an athlete might want to use our services to take precise measurements from a 3D body part to produce a mating prosthetic device, knee brace, etc.

Digitizers and services are much more affordable than you might think.  Email for details to sales@organicimaging.net.
Special financing is available through M &T Bank.
Visa and Mastercard accepted for Digitizer purchases and service bureau work.
